Our recent Open Day, held on Saturday, 25 January, at Eduvos Midrand Campus was a celebration of unlocking futures and transforming lives. One of the highlights of the day was the generosity of Modern Centric Holdings, a valued Eduvos partner, who awarded a bursary worth R50,000 to a deserving student through a lucky draw. This life-changing opportunity was presented through the Modern Community Foundation (MCF), which is dedicated to uplifting communities and supporting society’s most vulnerable.
The lucky draw was open to first-year Vossies who attended the Eduvos Midrand Open Day and enrolled to study an Information Technology (IT) qualification. Eligible students submitted their names at the Modern Community Foundation stall, with proof of enrolment at Eduvos. After an exciting draw, the bursary was awarded to Leseli Vuyiswa Ketabake, a first-year student pursuing a Higher Certificate in Information Technology (Software Development).
For Leseli, this bursary represents more than just financial relief–it’s a stepping stone towards a brighter future. “Thanks to this bursary, I now have the opportunity to further my education at Eduvos,” says Leseli. “This support has relieved financial stress for my family, allowing them to focus on providing essential study materials like textbooks and a laptop.”
At Eduvos, we are proud to collaborate with industry leaders who share our mission of empowering students to reach their full potential. This bursary is just one example of how we work with our partners to remove barriers to education and create opportunities for success.
If you’re looking for funding options, our trusted funding partners and external bursary opportunities can help make your educational dreams a reality.
