Eduvos proudly represented at the MST (Mathematics, Science, and Technology) Career Modelling and Guidance Day, hosted by the Department of Education for the Mogalakwena Education District in Limpopo. The event provided an inspiring platform to support academic excellence and career exploration among young learners.
With over 380 attendees, including the top four Grade 9 learners and a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) from each of the 90 participating schools. The day brought together education and industry leaders to guide learners through future-focused career options in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
Guest speakers included professionals from Voortrekker Hospital – such as surgeons, a radiologist, a community service doctor, and an environmental health scientist, as well as representatives from Anglo Gold, the Department of Education, and Eduvos. Together, they shared valuable insights into various career paths and the academic steps needed to reach them.
Eduvos was represented by Suzaan van Aswegen, the customer relationship manager from Eduvos Midrand. She delivered a keynote address on Career Guidance and Grade 9 Subject Choices, with a strong focus on Science, Mathematics, and Technology. Suzaan highlighted the programmes that Eduvos offers, the relevant subject requirements, entry criteria and the future career opportunities linked to each field.
Eduvos remains committed to partnering with the Department of Education to help students reach their academic and career goals. This collaboration supports the transformation of schools into centres of academic excellence and empowers South Africa’s youth to make informed subject choices that lead to meaningful, future-ready careers.
