The start of the 2026 academic year is almost here, and we are excited to welcome you to Eduvos. Orientation and Induction is your introduction to student life and sets you up for success as you begin your tertiary studies.

This programme has been carefully designed to help you settle in with confidence. Over the week, you will meet your lecturers, support staff, and fellow students, while getting to know your campus through guided tours or virtual sessions. You will also take part in practical workshops focused on essential academic skills and be introduced to our digital learning platforms, including myLMS, as well as the student support services available to you throughout your studies.

During Orientation and Induction, you will receive your student card, which gives you access to campus facilities, resource centres, and study spaces, making day-to-day campus life easier. Many students also enjoy additional benefits, such as discounts at select stores, restaurants, and transportation services.

Orientation is the perfect time to explore clubs and societies, sports, esports, campus events, and community initiatives. Getting involved is a great way to meet new people, build friendships, and feel part of the Eduvos community.

Orientation and Induction sessions are the starting point of a student's educational and higher education journey. Orientation and Induction is key in shaping success, belonging, and engagement. These sessions help students get to know the campus, connect with faculty, and build strong relationships with peers," says Cheryl Smith, head of student support and student affairs. "Whether you join an in-person meet and greet or a virtual induction, these sessions provide the tools and support needed to begin the year and succeed with confidence.
