Start Anytime is our personalised learning solution that helps you begin your studies on your schedule. This option is ideal if you missed an intake or simply don’t want to wait another few months to start your studies.
With Start Anytime, you can begin your studies by completing one foundational, credit-bearing module immediately. This self-directed module is fully online, allowing you to study at your own pace while earning academic credits that count toward your full qualification. By the time the next academic block begins, you’ll already have a head start and can continue seamlessly with your chosen qualification.

Start Anytime is designed to give you the freedom to study on your schedule, without compromising on academic quality or access to help when you need it. Before the new block starts, you will enjoy learning online, anywhere, anytime, through myLMS. This mode of learning blends asynchronous learning and on-demand support to suit your needs.
When you Start Anytime, you’ll access a range of engaging content, including videos, readings, and interactive activities. There are no live lectures to attend, so you can progress through the course material at your own speed. While learning is self-directed, you can book one-on-one consultation sessions for content-specific questions and engage with your lecturers, peers, and your Academic Success Coach on MS Teams and discussion forums for additional support.

You’ll have access to academic support throughout your Start Anytime journey. While there aren’t live and scheduled lectures, you can book one-on-one consultations with lecturers for academic questions. You’ll also be part of a Teams chat group with your lecturer, peers, and the Academic Success Coach for additional support and guidance.
Yes. Even though Start Anytime modules are fully online and self-directed, you’re welcome to make use of campus during operating hours.
There’s no fixed start date. As soon as your enrolment is confirmed and you’ve been onboarded, you can begin your two foundational modules right away.
Instead of a once-off session, we’ve built orientation into your journey. You’ll get immediate access to a dedicated Orientation & Induction page on myLMS, with helpful videos, guides, and resources. Plus, your Academic Success Coach will support you personally throughout your onboarding.
You’ll be studying the same credit-bearing foundational modules that are part of the full qualification, just earlier.
The Start Anytime option doesn’t come with any extra fees. Your fees are spread over 12 or 13 months (instead of 11), giving you more breathing room financially. All normal funding and payment options still apply.
All assessments are completed online, so you won’t need to write exams in person. You can visit a campus near you to use available resources if you need a quiet space, a PC, or reliable internet access.
Start Anytime is designed to help you get ahead. By completing up to two modules earlier, you’ll lighten your workload when you join the regular block and stay updated with the rest of your peers.
During the enrolment process on the Self-Service portal, you’ll select the Start Anytime option for your foundational modules. You can choose to start one or both modules early, depending on your preference.
Yes, you will, but in addition to your SAA, you’ll also have a dedicated Academic Success Coach. Their role is tailored specifically for Start Anytime students to provide ongoing support, track your progress, and help you stay engaged throughout your learning journey.
