•You must pass at least 6 out of 7 subjects with a minimum of: 40% or Level 3 for your Home Language;50% or Level 4 for four other high credit subjects (excluding Life Orientation); 30% or Level 2 for two other subjects• For your Eduvos APS calculation, Life Orientation will be granted 3 points from any percentage above 40%• Alternatively, the endorsement on your NSC may grant you admission into a Higher Certificate or Foundation Programme
• You must pass 7 subjects by achieving a minimum of:40% in English Language30% minimum in Maths/Maths Literacy 40% in Life Orientation50% in each of 4 vocational subjects
• You must have achieved a minimum of 60% in three Fundamental subjects (English, Mathematics or Math Literacy or Technical Mathematics, Life Orientation) • You must have a minimum of 70% in the four Vocational subjects, chosen from the NC(V) registered subject listThe NCV (Level 4) subjects must relate to the degree for which you intend on enrolling for.
What are Eduvos Points? Eduvos/Vossie Points, or you may formally know them as Admission Points Score (APS), are a measure of your performance in your National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination as it relates to the requirements for a particular qualification to which you may apply. • For SETA accredited programmes - Matric and / or a NQF 4 equivalent competency in English and Numeracy
Admission into Eduvos is dependent on prospective students meeting the specified minimum admission requirements for their chosen qualification. If students don’t meet these minimum requirements, our HEC’s can assist in alternative study options.

• 50% or above for Grade 12 Mathematics Students with Mathematics Literacy (50% or more) must enrol for, and complete, Introduction to Mathematics and Mathematics for Degree Studies B (IT) before attempting Mathematics 1A. Students with Mathematics (less than 50%, but greater than 30%) must enrol for, and complete, Mathematics for Degree Studies B (IT) before attempting Mathematics 1A.
• 32 Eduvos points or more • 50% or above for Grade 12 English • 50% or above for Grade 12 Mathematics • 50% or above for Grade 12 Biology/Life Sciences • The points attained for the best two of the subjects of Biology/ Life Sciences, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Physical Science must be doubled • A student with less than 50% in Grade 12 or equivalent Mathematics, but greater than or equal to or equal to 40%, is required to enrol for and complete Mathematics for Degree Studies B (Science) before attempting Mathematics for Science Students

• 25 Eduvos points or more • 50% or above for Grade 12 Mathematics equivalent • An Applicant with Grade 12 or equivalent Mathematics: (a) with less than 50% but greater than or equal to 45%, is required to enrol for and complete Introduction to Mathematics (FPBMA0) and Mathematics for Degree Studies B Commerce (FPMCA0) before being admitted into 2nd year; (b) with less than 45% but greater or equal to 40%, needs to request for HOP’s approval. If granted, Point (a) will apply

A Student with Mathematics (less than 50% but greater than or equal to 30%) must enrol for Mathematics for and complete Degree Studies B (Commerce)

• HOP Discretional Admission: Students with a final year average of 55 – 59% will be admitted if they attained 60% or higher for the designated cognate/core discipline final- year modules • Non-graduates: Design practitioners without an academic qualification will be eligible to apply subject to appropriate evaluation procedures based on recognition of prior learning policies • All applicants are required to complete an entrance challenge: namely a detailed letter of intent, an interview and a portfolio
A recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent for the specific Honours degree, which should include Business Management and/or Strategic Management at third year level as well as Accounting, Economics and Statistics at first year level.
In addition to the Minimum Admission Requirements, certain Eduvos programmes and qualifications require additional admission requirements that must be met.
