You've completed your qualification with Eduvos, and now it's time to celebrate this milestone with your family, friends, and fellow graduates.

This page guides you through everything you need to know about your graduation ceremony, including key dates, venues, what to wear, how to access your photos, and more.

Students based in Gauteng will attend the Bedfordview campus ceremony, while those in the Western Cape will attend the Mowbray campus ceremony. Students from all other provinces will join the ceremony taking place in their respective provinces.
The Potchefstroom and Vaal campuses will have a combined graduation ceremony.

Dress Code

Graduation ceremonies are formal, with a smart casual or business dress code. All graduands must wear the prescribed academic dress. Eduvos' official supplier is Academic Apparel Gowns and Robes, with bookings and payments made directly by graduands.

Arrival & Registration

Arrive and register at the time indicated for your specific campus ceremony. Once registered, ensure you are seated 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Guests

Guests should be seated at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. Seating is unreserved, and guests are asked to fill seats from the front to minimise disruption. Late arrivals will be accommodated after the Guest Speaker's address, subject to seat availability.

Venue Rules

Please note that no food or beverages are allowed inside the hall. All cellphones must be switched off for the duration of the ceremony. The graduation ceremony will last approximately two hours, and guests are kindly requested not to leave the hall during this time.

Gordon Harris Photographic are the official photographers for all Eduvos graduation ceremonies. They handle all photography before, during, and after the ceremony. No unofficial photographers will be permitted inside the venue.

Graduation Attire:

All graduands are required to wear the prescribed academic dress to ceremonies. Eduvos has partnered with Academic Apparel Gowns & Robes, an online graduation attire service that is fast, efficient, and eco-friendly.

Academic dress must be arranged for and paid directly by the graduand to the supplier. When ordering, enter the following as your student number:

Hired gowns and hoods must be returned to the supplier within one hour after the ceremony.

Find answers to common questions about your graduation

All graduands must have met the requirements to graduate. If you are unsure, please contact the Academic Administration at your campus for assistance.

All outstanding fees, fines, and Resource Centre books must be settled and returned. If your account is not fully settled at least 30 days before the ceremony, you may still attend and walk the stage, but your certificate and academic transcript will only be issued once your account is paid in full.

If you are unable to attend, you will graduate in absentia and must notify your campus in advance. Arrangements will then be made to collect the certificate.

A third party may collect a certificate on your behalf. This must be requested in writing to your campus, including the nominee's full details and ID number. The nominated person must present their ID and sign when collecting the certificate.

Online students based in Gauteng will attend the Bedfordview campus ceremony, while those in the Western Cape will attend the Mowbray campus ceremony. Online students from all other provinces will join the ceremony taking place in their respective provinces.

Guests are welcome to take photographs or videos during the ceremony, provided that they remain seated at all times. Please note that no unofficial photographers will be permitted inside the venue.

Collecting Your Certificate

Graduates are to collect their certificates from the appropriate campus staff member after the ceremony. All graduates are to sign the Graduate Receipt of Graduation documentation and complete the required Certificate Confirmation of Receipt form and hand it back to the relevant campus staff member. Please note that all certificates are issued in English.

Qualification Verification

Qualification verification is handled directly through your campus. Employers and background screening companies can contact the relevant campus to verify the authenticity of an Eduvos qualification.
