Business-minded? The multidisciplinary nature of this degree prepares you for work in any area of business. You will cover the broad principles of commerce and management, focusing on business management, human resource management, and marketing. You will also develop a sound foundation in accounting, financial management, project management, economics, research methodology, and organisational behaviour.

Our unique teaching and learning approaches will also help you develop essential skills for the world of work, such as analytical thinking, effective decision-making, working in teams, and communicating confidently.

This qualification will be offered in a 4-block mode, and students can start at any of the four intake dates specified. Intakes will be determined by the relevant campus.

Entry requirements
• You need a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelor degree entry or an equivalent foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level with Bachelor degree entry approved by Universities South Africa (USAf).
• If you have an international school-leaving certificate, you need to provide a certificate of exemption issued by Universities South Africa (USAf).
• Alternatively, a prospective student should have successfully completed the relevant Eduvos foundation programme. On successful completion of the relevant foundation programme, students are required to apply to Universities South Africa (USAf) for a certificate of exemption in order to be admitted to a degree programme.

• Alternatively, a prospective student should have successfully completed a relevant higher certificate qualification.

Year 1
First year-level subjects are aimed at introducing students to the core subject
areas of a general Commerce qualification. They are equipped with the

Students who passed the Human Resource Information Systems exams with 75%+ will receive a SAGE payroll certificate.

Third year-level subjects are designed to provide students to specialise in Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Business Management.

The modules of Research Methodology and Financial Management also contribute to making students work-ready.
