For others, it is earned in the fast-paced world of esports, where teamwork, strategic thinking, and quick decision making are just as important. As esports continues to grow, Eduvos is proud to support learners as they develop the skills, resilience, and confidence to compete at the highest level.
As part of our ongoing commitment to building meaningful partnerships with schools, Eduvos Bloemfontein recently welcomed the Grey College First Team Esports squad to campus ahead of the ASL National Esports Tournament in Cape Town. The visit celebrated the team's achievements while also giving learners a chance to experience the Bloemfontein campus and imagine their future at Eduvos. 14 learners from Grades 9 to 12, together with their coaches, explored the facilities, met staff, and learned more about student life.
As proud sponsors of the Grey College Esports team, our Bloemfontein campus provided team kits and contributed towards the team's travel to the national tournament, allowing players to focus on their performance. Before departing, the team also received small motivational gifts as a reminder that the Eduvos community was behind them as they represented Bloemfontein on the national stage.
Supporting school esports is a natural extension of our own commitment to competitive gaming. With esports leagues across all 12 campuses, students have opportunities to compete, represent their campus, and develop valuable skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, leadership, and communication. By championing esports at both school and higher education level, we are helping to nurture the next generation of digitally skilled, future-ready graduates.
Supporting initiatives like the Grey College First Team Esports squad reflects Eduvos’ belief that learner success extends beyond academic achievement. Through partnerships with schools, sponsorships and campus experiences, we continue to create opportunities that celebrate young people's talents while helping them realise their potential in the classroom, in competition, and beyond.
