Eduvos is proud to have been recognised at the Chartered CIO Conference & Awards 2026, receiving national recognition for our contribution to workforce readiness, professional development, and industry collaboration within South Africa's ICT sector.
Hosted by ITWeb, in partnership with the Chartered CIO Council® C-CIO(SA), the conference brought together CIOs, technology leaders, government representatives, professional bodies, and industry stakeholders to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping South Africa's digital future. Under the theme, "Resilient. Intelligent. Inclusive: Shaping South Africa's Digital Future," the event provided an important platform for collaboration, innovation, and meaningful discussions around digital transformation, leadership, skills development, and the future of work.
These awards reflect Eduvos' ongoing commitment to developing graduates who are equipped to succeed in an increasingly digital and technology-driven world while contributing meaningfully to South Africa's growing digital economy.
We believe that higher education plays a critical role in preparing students not only for employment, but for lifelong success in a rapidly evolving workplace. Through industry-aligned qualifications, practical learning opportunities, and strong relationships with professional bodies and industry partners, we are committed to ensuring that graduates develop the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to navigate the future of work with confidence.
Our Faculty of Information Technology continues to focus on creating learning experiences that connect academic theory with real-world application. Students are exposed to emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, software development, robotics, and intelligent systems, while developing the critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills that employers increasingly value.
"These awards reflect our commitment to developing digitally capable, future-ready graduates who can create value, solve real-world challenges, and contribute meaningfully to society and the digital economy," says Dr Amos Anele.
"The recognition belongs to the entire Faculty of IT team, whose commitment to student development, academic excellence, innovation, and industry engagement continues to strengthen the impact of Eduvos within the ICT profession," adds Dr Anele.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Institute of Chartered IT Professionals South Africa (ICITP), the Chartered CIO Council® C-CIO(SA), industry partners, professional bodies, staff, students, and alumni whose ongoing support and collaboration contribute to the advancement of digital skills development and professional learning across South Africa.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to academic excellence, industry relevance, and preparing future-ready graduates who are ready to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact in a changing world.
