Introducing the Eduvos Social Houses.

Post by Eduvos, February 10, 2026.

Student life is about more than classes and deadlines. It is about belonging, connection, and the experiences that shape who you become. The Eduvos Social Houses bring this to life by creating spaces where students connect through shared moments, meaningful involvement, and a strong sense of community.

From your first days as a student, your Social House becomes part of how you experience campus life. It is where you meet people, take part, and grow alongside others throughout your journey.

What Are Social Houses?

The Social Houses are student communities that sit at the centre of campus life. Students will be placed into a House as part of the student experience, making it easy to get involved from day one.

Each House is inspired by a natural element and carries its own energy and identity. While every House brings something different to the community, they all work together to create one shared Eduvos community that celebrates participation, collaboration, and growth.

Why Social Houses Matter

We're creating opportunities for students to step outside the classroom and take part in campus life in meaningful and rewarding ways. They support confidence, connection, and personal development through activities that reflect different interests, strengths, and ways of showing up.

Through your Social House, you can:

  • Meet new people and build strong peer connections
  • Get involved in sport, culture, and creative activities
  • Step into leadership roles and develop practical skills
  • Contribute to community initiatives and volunteering efforts

Every activity will count towards House points, turning participation into a fun and motivating experience throughout the year.

The Six Eduvos Social Houses

The Eduvos Social Houses are inspired by natural elements and represent different ways of showing up in student life. All Houses are equal, each offering a unique space to connect and contribute. The Houses are:

Lesedi (Light)

Lesedi represents positivity and shared energy. Students in this House bring joy, optimism, and togetherness to campus life.

Umoya (Wind)

Umoya is all about movement and discovery. Its students are curious, open, and always ready to connect people and ideas.

Pula (Water)

Pula reflects growth and renewal. Students in this House support one another, adapt to challenges, and move forward together.

Moyo (Fire)

Moyo is driven by passion and belief. Its students lead with confidence, creativity, and the courage to turn ideas into action.

Lefatshe (Earth)

Lefatshe stands for grounding and strength. This House offers stability, loyalty, and a strong sense of shared identity.

Seriti

Seriti is guided by integrity and purpose. Its students believe that how you show up and treat others defines the impact you leave behind.

More Than a House, It Is Your Student Experience

These houses will shape how students connect, participate, and experience campus life. Through shared goals, friendly competition and meaningful involvement, Social Houses help turn everyday moments into lasting memories, and lifelong connections.
