Preparing students for the world of work is a key part of our academic offering. While earning a qualification is an important milestone, we also want to ensure that you graduate with the skills, experience, and confidence to succeed in your career.

This is where our Work Readiness and Career Services come in. These services are designed to help you transition smoothly from tertiary studies to the workplace by offering practical support, guidance, and industry exposure throughout your studies.

What Work Readiness and Career Services Include.

1. Work Readiness Programmes

These programmes focus on the day-to-day skills needed in the workplace. You can participate in workshops on:

  • CV writing and formatting
  • Interview preparation and techniques
  • Workplace communication
  • Professional behaviour and etiquette

These sessions are practical and aim to build confidence in applying for jobs and working in professional environments.

2. Career Services

Our Employability Centres and career advisors are available to assist you with:

  • Career planning and guidance
  • Reviewing and improving CVs and cover letters
  • Job application support
  • Advice on job search strategies

The goal is to give you the tools to make informed career decisions and navigate your job search with confidence.

3. Internships and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)

For many qualifications at Eduvos, Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) is a compulsory, credit-bearing component. WIL involves a structured placement, usually 4 to 6 weeks, at a business or organisation. During this time, students:

  • Complete practical tasks linked to their field of study
  • Develop decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a workplace

Internships and WIL opportunities are facilitated through our partnerships with industry, to provide you with meaningful work experience before you graduate.

4. Networking and Industry Exposure

To help students build professional connections, we also offer access to:

These events create opportunities for you to meet potential employers, learn about industry trends, and ask questions directly to professionals.

5. Employability Support and Job Opportunities

Eduvos regularly shares job opportunities with students and graduates, including:

  • Internships
  • Graduate programmes
  • Learnerships
  • Entry-level positions

This ongoing support helps students take the next step in their careers, whether during or after their studies.
