Higher education is more than lectures and exams. It is about unlocking potential, sparking vision, and preparing students to step confidently into their futures. One inspiring example of this in motion is the newly formed Entrepreneurship Hub (EH) at our Pretoria campus. The Entrepreneurship Hub is a student-led initiative that empowers Vossies to turn their ideas into action.
The Entrepreneurship Hub was created with a clear vision, to encourage entrepreneurial thinking across all faculties. Open to every Eduvos student, the Hub creates space, both intellectually and socially, for ideas to be shared, developed and brought to life. With support from academic staff, alumni and industry experts, students are encouraged to explore their potential through activities designed to build confidence, creativity, and business know-how.
The hub focuses on three key areas:
The power of the Entrepreneurship Hub lies in its ability to unite students with a shared passion for solving problems, building ideas, and making an impact. With support from faculty, alumni, and industry experts, students can explore their potential in a supportive environment that encourages risk-taking and continuous learning.
The hub also provides access to physical spaces, such as meeting rooms and event areas. These spaces allow students to collaborate, present ideas, host sessions, and meet others who share their drive to create and grow.
Entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business. It’s about thinking critically, acting with purpose and being adaptable. These are essential skills for any career paths, and at Eduvos, we’re committed to helping students develop them.
