Eduvos Proudly Sponsors and Attends SAGSA Annual Conference.

Eduvos will be attending and speaking at the South African Girls’ Schools Association (SAGSA) Annual Conference, taking place from 28 – 30 May 2025 at St Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls in Makhanda (Grahamstown). As an official partner of SAGSA, Eduvos is honoured to join school leaders from across the country to collaborate on the future of education for young women.

This conference will bring together over 130 principals and senior leadership teams from girls’ schools across South Africa. This national gathering is a key moment in the education calendar, offering a productive environment for school leaders to connect, collaborate, and explore new thinking in the sector.

As the only higher education institution invited to attend this year's conference, Eduvos is uniquely positioned to engage with schools on how we can better support learners on their journey to higher education, and ultimately, to the world of work. Eduvos’ presence reflects our long-term commitment to working closely with high schools to ensure that students are not only academically prepared but personally equipped for the future.

This year’s theme, “Personal Sustainability – Making Space for Ourselves, Our Girls, and Our Community,” invites a deeper conversation about how educators and institutions can support the wellbeing of our students; individually, institutionally, and collectively. This theme resonates strongly with Eduvos’ own commitment to creating learning environments that empower both students and staff.

Claire Raga, Campus General Manager of Eduvos Nelson Mandela Bay, will deliver a keynote address titled “Making Space for Their Future: Empowering the Next Generation through Future-Fit Education.” Drawing on Eduvos’ student-centred approach, Claire will highlight the importance of creating spaces where young people are seen as more than students, spaces where they are recognised as future leaders and innovators. She touches on Eduvos’ investment in academic support, wellbeing, mentorship, and industry-relevant qualifications, as well as our partnerships with high schools and the wider community to bridge the gap between school and higher education in meaningful ways.

We look forward to connecting with school leaders, exchanging insights, and contributing to ongoing conversations about the future of education in South Africa.
