The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is more than just a qualification – it’s the gateway to upholding justice, influencing policy, and driving change. At Eduvos, we’re shaping the next generation of legal minds who are ready to take on the challenges of today’s world with confidence, compassion, and clarity. Whether your dream is to become an attorney, advocate, or legal advisor in business, our LLB lays the groundwork for a fulfilling and future-forward career.
Our LLB is a comprehensive, accredited degree that equips students with the knowledge, critical thinking, and legal research skills essential to thrive in the legal field. Recognised by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), our LLB qualification is designed to meet the national academic and professional requirements for legal education in South Africa.
“Justice is not static, and neither is legal education,” says Dr Tinaye Chivizhe, Head of Programme for Law. “Our LLB programme embraces innovation, ethical grounding, and practical experience – empowering students to navigate an evolving legal landscape and become agents of meaningful change in South Africa’s justice system.”
Studying at Eduvos exposes you to a balanced mix of academic theory and practical learning. With access to three hours of optional national online lectures weekly that are presented in a TED Talk-style by expert legal professionals and two hours of optional campus-based tutorials and case-based discussions, you can tailor your learning journey while staying connected to your peers and lecturers.
The LLB qualification is a four-year programme that develops both foundational legal knowledge and advanced understanding of specialised legal areas. You will explore core modules such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, and Procedural Law, inclusive of elective areas like International Trade Law, Intellectual Property Law or Human Rights Law, depending on your interests.
However, beyond legal theory, the LLB perfects significant transferable skills, such as logical reasoning, persuasive communication, ethical decision-making, and analytical writing. It’s a qualification that builds agile thinkers and sharp problem-solvers who can apply legal principles across various industries.
You also benefit from real-world exposure. Through structured field trips, courtroom visits, practical legal training in the law clinic and interactions with practising legal professionals, you will gain insight into the justice system in action.
A law degree opens doors beyond the courtroom. With an LLB from Eduvos, you can pursue traditional legal paths, ranging from becoming an attorney, advocate, or a legal advisor to branching into corporate governance, compliance, policy-making, and legal research roles.
The career versatility of the LLB lies in its strong foundation of critical thinking, legal reasoning, and ethical problem-solving. Whether you're resolving commercial disputes, advising on constitutional matters, or driving legal reform, the LLB prepares you to influence real-world outcomes.
Our industry-connected curriculum, guest lectures, and opportunities for workplace learning mean you graduate with both the knowledge and the context to succeed in legal and business environments alike.
Studying law at Eduvos is about joining a community committed to justice, transformation, and impact. Our LLB offers a future-focused, accessible, and engaging legal education that empowers you to shape the world through the law.
