On 29 February, high school educators and parents had the privilege of attending the Instilling a Positive and Resilient Mindset webinar, an insightful session led by Eduvos Programme Manager in Commerce and Law, Anne Nel.  

This webinar session delved into the power of positive thinking, practical strategies for resilience, the role of parents and educators, building emotional intelligence in learners, and key takeaways for empowering children.  

The Power of Positive Mindset 
Anne emphasised the significance of maintaining a positive mindset, especially in challenging times. She discussed how one's perspective shapes your reality and shared actionable tips for cultivating positivity in everyday life. 

Practical Strategies for Resilience 
Attendees gained valuable insights into building resilience in the face of adversity. The session provided practical strategies and techniques for bouncing back from setbacks, managing stress, and developing a resilient mindset that fosters growth and adaptability. 

Role of Parents & Educators 
Anne highlighted the crucial role of parents and educators in nurturing children's resilience and positive mindset. She discussed effective ways for parents and educators to support children in developing resilience skills, fostering a nurturing environment, and serving as role models.
