Eduvos Breaks Records with 20,000 Enrolled Students for 2025.

Post by Eduvos, April 1, 2025.

Eduvos is celebrating a historic milestone: at the start of this year, we had 20,000 students enrolled to study with us in 2025.

Our growth has been consistent and remarkable. In 2023, we welcomed 9,800 students in our Block 1 intake, that number grew to 13,000 in 2024. This year, Block 1 alone has already exceeded previous records, and we’re not done yet. With three more intake opportunities available this year, there’s still time for prospective Vossies to start their studies when they’re ready.

Upcoming 2025 Intakes:

  • Block 2: 5 May
  • Block 3: 21 July
  • Block 4: 29 September

"This year’s remarkable enrolment numbers are an endorsement of our commitment to providing quality higher education that meets the evolving needs of our society,” says Siegie Brownlee, CEO of Eduvos. “We’re proud to be part of South Africa's educational transformation, offering accessible, future-fit curricula that empower students to thrive in an increasingly competitive world.”

Why More Students Are Choosing Eduvos

The rise in enrolments at Eduvos reflects a broader national trend. Over the past decade, the demand for private higher education in South Africa has doubled, with enrolment growth now outpacing that of public institutions.

This shift is driven by students and their parents seeking a more personalised learning experience, innovative curricula, and improved employability outcomes. At Eduvos, we’re proud to be leading this transformation. Our students benefit from several learning modalities, industry-aligned qualifications and campuses equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. We also support students at every level of their learning journey, including those who do not meet entry requirements. Our Access, Pre-degree Foundation Programmes, and Higher Certificates are ideal for students who need a stepping stone before pursuing a degree. We’re also proud to offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), allowing individuals with relevant work experience or informal training to gain academic recognition.

In addition, our strong network of industry and funding partners helps students access innovative financial solutions, such as corporate sponsorships and income-share agreements, easing the burden of funding their studies.

Excellence in Education

Our commitment to academic excellence and real-world relevance has been recognised both nationally and internationally.

In 2024, we were awarded the PMR.africa Diamond Arrow Award for the second consecutive year. This award recognises excellence across industries through extensive surveys, marking Eduvos as the highest-rated private higher education provider in South Africa, measured according to academic knowledge, application of knowledge in the workplace, innovation, leadership, and communication skills.

Earlier this year, we also received accreditation from the British Accreditation Council (BAC), affirming the global standard of our qualifications and student support services.

Private Education is Transforming South Africa’s Higher Learning Landscape

With public universities facing challenges like limited capacity and funding constraints, private institutions like Eduvos are stepping up to offer high-quality, accessible, and future-focused education. Our record-breaking 2025 intake is proof that Eduvos is leading the way. We offer more than just qualifications; we’re providing a pathway to success.
