Your future shouldn’t be limited by life’s challenges. A student’s journey may involve living with a disability, managing a chronic illness, navigating mental health struggles, or recovering from an injury.
That’s why we prioritise academic concessions and accommodations to ensure every student has the opportunity to participate fully in their education and show their true ability.
Academic concessions at Eduvos are adjustments that ensure fair access to learning. They don’t compromise academic integrity; rather, they make it possible for you to demonstrate your potential on a level playing field.
Depending on your specific needs, support may include;
These accommodations are designed to make sure nothing limits your opportunity to succeed.
Support is available whether your challenge is temporary or ongoing. You’ll need documentation from a recognised professional, this could be a medical specialist, psychiatrist, educational psychologist, or registered traditional healer.
Applications must be submitted to the Eduvos inclusion committee by the end of the first week of each academic block. Your Student Affairs Advisor (SAA) can guide you through this process.
If a request is not approved, you can appeal by submitting new or updated documentation. Appeals will be reviewed within fifteen working days.
Fairness, humanness, and inclusion aren’t just values, they’re commitments. Academic concessions are one way we honour. Whatever challenges you face, we’ll ensure you have the support you need to keep moving forward, shape your future, and unlock your full potential.
