Eduvos Psychology and English graduate, Nobuhle Purity Nzama, talks to us about her Eduvos journey at our Durban campus.
Why did you decide to study a Bachelor of Arts at Eduvos?
Since starting high school I always knew I wanted to pursue psychology, along with my love for literature and an interest in the Humanities. A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English was a no-brainer. Having come from a school with smaller classes, I knew Eduvos was the right institution for me. Eduvos has proven to be a great institute that truly cares about growing Africa's prosperity with the quality of their offered qualifications and keeping their curricula relevant and updated.
What has your experience at Eduvos been like?
I was taught by lecturers who love their job and their lectures were a testament to that. They invested in each of their students and weren’t deterred by the endless questions we asked.
The Durban campus staff really showed that they cared about each and every student as an individual. I have had the privilege of seeing how hard they work. Both as a student at Eduvos and as an Enrolment Temp. I respect their work ethic and it shows within the campus culture. I can speak for my campus, the concerns and different queries that were raised as a class were respected and taken care of by the Durban staff.
Through my whole Eduvos experience, I gained friends who I now call my sisters and I gained confidence in achieving my dreams. Eduvos exceeded my expectations.
What makes Eduvos unique?
I’d have to say our Eduvos values, in particular Humanness and Accountability, along with its purpose of shaping Africa's potential one student at a time. Eduvos encourages its students to rebuild their home (Africa) and not lose sight of its potential and the difference we can make.
What advice would you give to students looking to study at Eduvos?
I highly recommend studying at Eduvos! They offer high-quality academic content, the staff care about their students and most importantly, they are passionate about their students' dreams and aspirations. Passion beats any doubt. Eduvos is all about that.
How would you describe the quality of education you obtained at Eduvos?
There is no doubt in my mind that my qualification consisted of rich content and is of high quality. If I had to compare my qualification with a graduate from a different institution, I am confident that my qualification would definitely set me apart from the rest.
I look forward to finally receiving my Eduvos degree this graduation season and celebrating with my fellow Class of 2022 peers.
