Study Humanities at Eduvos.

Post by Eduvos, April 4, 2024.

The demand for adaptable, critical thinkers is at an all-time high. At Eduvos, we understand the ever-changing needs of different industries. Therefore, we prioritise a modern approach to education, particularly in our Humanities faculty. Studying Humanities at Eduvos exposes prospective students to future-focused qualifications, ensuring a successful career after graduation.

Bridging Theory with Real-World Practice
We recognise the importance of staying abreast of industry trends and developments to equip our Vossies with real-world skills. Through our dedication to bringing the industry to the classroom and the classroom to the industry, our Humanities qualifications are designed to introduce industry trends to facilitate practical learning. From inviting industry experts to engage with students to implementing work-integrated learning programmes, we bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering a dynamic learning environment where students thrive.

Empowering confident, critical thinkers
At the centre of our Humanities faculty and the institution at large, lies a commitment to producing graduates that beam with confidence, creativity, and the ability to think critically about the world around them.

Unlike traditional classrooms, we take pride in employing a more flipped classroom approach where student participation is encouraged. Through this approach, students are active participants whose contributions are crucial to other students’ learning and understanding of the course material. We also encourage students to explore innovation and discovery through research, as opposed to dealing with ambiguities and solving problems, which is often the case within the Humanities field.

Specialisation opportunities
At Eduvos, we steer clear of the one-size-fits-all and allow students to enrol in a qualification aligned with their interests and career aspirations.

Our Humanities qualifications offer a broad knowledge base encompassing various disciplines such as Graphic Design and various BA streams. Students can explore the different disciplines and career paths within the BA streams before making a final decision.

For instance, students are exposed to both Industrial Psychology and Psychology, where students can choose between English Literature, Linguistics, HR management, or Political Science. In addition, students can explore Communication Science, Law,  Politics, Philosophy and Media Studies.

Our assignments respond to our ever-changing world and often simulate tasks (where appropriate per module) found in industry. Our graduates leave industry-ready, as is evidenced by some of our recent achievements at the Gold Pack Awards

Whether you’re studying Humanities and looking to switch over to Eduvos, or you’re looking to kick off your higher education journey in the Humanities field, we will set you up for a successful career.

Enrol now, and you can still start in 2024 or pre-enrol for 2025 to secure your seat at Eduvos.
