The start of our 2025 academic year is almost here! Our upcoming Orientation and Induction is your gateway to a successful and enriching academic experience, ensuring a smooth transition to higher education for our first-year students. Orientation and Induction week will take place from 10 - 14 February.
We’ve designed the programme to make your first days at Eduvos stress-free, enjoyable, and informative. During these sessions, you’ll meet your lecturers, support staff, and fellow students. It’s also a great chance to explore your campus through guided tours or virtual sessions. You’ll take part in workshops that build essential academic skills and get introduced to our digital platforms (myLMS) and student support services, everything you need for a strong start at Eduvos.
You’ll also receive your student card, which is more than just identification. It’s your key to campus life, giving you access to facilities, libraries, and study spaces to make your daily routine easier. It even comes with perks, many students enjoy discounts at select stores, restaurants, and transport services.
Beyond academics, we encourage you to explore student life. Whether through clubs and societies, esports, campus events, or community initiatives, there are so many ways to get involved and make lifelong connections.
We encourage you to engage with the sessions and take advantage of the support available, our faculty and staff are always happy to assist. Connect with your peers and start building a network that will support you throughout your studies. Finally, take the time to explore the resources available to you, from study support to wellbeing services.
“Orientation and induction sessions mark the beginning of a student's academic journey and help students familiarise themselves with the campus, connect with faculty, and build strong relationships with their peers,” says Sharnell Pather, Academic Support Lead. “Whether you attend an in-person meet and greet or virtual induction, these sessions will give you the support and tools to start the year with confidence.”
We can’t wait to welcome you to Eduvos and help you make the most of your academic journey. Dates differ for our various modes of learning and faculties, visit our Orientation and Induction page to learn more. All applicants are welcome to join us on campus for O & I and complete your enrolment. Even if you haven't paid your first instalment or signed your contract, our team will help you get started.
