Our Alumni Association recently wrapped up a national series of connect events where alumni came together to celebrate shared experiences, reignite connections, and foster lifelong professional and personal relationships.
The 2025 alumni events were thoughtfully designed to offer Eduvos graduates opportunities to reconnect in different spaces. While the campus environment evokes fond memories of student life, the intention was to provide alumni with settings that reflect who they are today as professionals, leaders, and collaborators.
Through these events, Eduvos continues to demonstrate its investment in the alumni community, supporting both personal and professional growth while fostering belonging across the broader Eduvos network.
Julie Hendricks, Alumni Manager, shares: “I am in the privileged position of travelling to each campus and engaging with alumni across South Africa. It gives me great hope to be in rooms filled with so much potential. We are building a community that will shape the future, not only for Eduvos alumni but for South Africa as a whole. I can feel it. I am very proud of what the Alumni Association has become, and it continues to grow each day into a group of people united by their Eduvos experience and their shared vision for the greater good.”
One of the most memorable moments in the series unfolded at the Durban (Umhlanga) event, where a Class of 2014 graduate found common ground with a recent Class of 2024 alum. Their discussion, spanning a decade of transformation in the Information Technology industry, captured the spirit of these events: intergenerational exchange, leadership in action, and a community driven by insight and innovation.
These moments remind us that the Alumni Association is not just about networking. It is about building a future where alumni voices, expertise, and experiences help shape a stronger Eduvos community for generations to come.
