Choosing where to study is important. Choosing how you want to study matters just as much. Your schedule, responsibilities, and goals are unique to you. That's why we offer different modes of learning designed to support different ways of learning and living. Whether you prefer the structure of campus life, the accessibility of online learning, or the independence of distance learning, there are study options designed around your needs.
If you enjoy face-to-face interaction, collaborative learning, and the campus experience, campus full-time learning may suit you best. You attend live daytime lectures at your nearest Eduvos campus while engaging directly with lecturers and classmates through discussions, group work, and in-class learning experiences.
Most undergraduate qualifications follow a hybrid learning approach, combining campus-based and virtual learning. You may attend lectures on campus one week and join live virtual lectures via MS Teams the next, while following a consistent timetable throughout the academic block. You will also use myLMS to access learning materials, prepare for lectures, and continue learning outside of class.
Campus full-time learning may suit you if you:
If you want scheduled lecturer support while studying online, online learning may be a good fit for you.
You attend live virtual lectures via MS Teams and engage with lecturers and classmates in real time from wherever you are. Lectures are generally scheduled after hours during evenings and, in some cases, Saturdays, making this option well suited to students managing work or daytime responsibilities. Most online modules include one live lecture per week, typically between 6 and 9 pm. Learning materials, activities, and support are accessed through myLMS.
Online learning can be studied full-time or part-time, depending on the pace that suits your goals and lifestyle. Full-time students typically enrol for three to four modules per block and follow the minimum completion period for their qualification. Part-time students generally enrol for one to two modules per block, allowing them to spread their studies over a longer period while balancing other commitments.
Online learning may suit you if you:
If you prefer learning independently without fixed lecture schedules, distance learning may suit you best. Unlike campus and online learning, distance learning does not require live lectures. Instead, you study asynchronously, allowing you to work through learning materials at times that suit your schedule.
Distance learning is available for selected qualifications, providing an alternative pathway for students balancing work, family responsibilities, or other commitments while pursuing their studies.
You will access recorded lectures, assessments, discussion forums, and learning materials through myLMS, while still having access to optional lecturer consultation sessions for additional support.
Distance learning may suit you if you:
Eduvos follows a four-block academic model rather than a traditional two-semester structure. This allows you to focus on fewer modules at a time before progressing into the next academic block. Each block includes seven weeks of lectures followed by assessments.
The four-block structure also creates multiple intake opportunities throughout the year, allowing you to begin your studies in Block 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on qualification availability. For selected qualifications, Start Anytime options may also be available, allowing you to begin your learning journey without waiting for the next intake.
There is no single 'best' way to study. The right learning mode depends on your lifestyle, responsibilities, goals, and how you learn best. What matters most is choosing a learning experience that supports both your education and your everyday life.
Applications for our next intake are open. Enrol today and you could start as early as 20 July. If you are currently in matric, make Eduvos your first choice and pre-enrol for 2027 to begin your higher education journey.
