"Eduvos Tygervalley will be offering our Biomedicine and Biotechnology qualifications from May 2025. This is an exciting development as we have previously only had these qualifications available in our Gauteng campuses," says Aamina Gangat, Eduvos Tygervalley General Manager. "We are launching our Applied Science faculty at our new site extension, located just 1.3 km away from the Tygervalley Campus. This facility boasts a brand-new Applied Science lab, and it's a significant step in offering cutting-edge qualifications to our students."
This expansion isn’t just about new facilities, it’s about increasing access to future-focused higher education in Applied Science. "Eduvos, by expanding the Applied Science qualifications to the Western Cape, is implementing a forward-thinking initiative to address the growing global demand for skilled professionals in biotechnology and biomedicine," says Dr Siva Danaviah, Head of Programme: Applied Science. "We’re committed to educating the next generation of scientists, driving innovation, and strengthening South Africa’s contribution to the scientific knowledge economy."
