Description:
Eduvos is looking to employ the services of a Senior Application Developer (LMS) at any of our National campuses* on a permanent basis.
The Position:
To provide maintenance and support on more complex Learner Management Services (LMS).
Minimum qualification:
Undergraduate / BSc in IT
Experience:
- At least three to five years of web development, server management of which at least three years as a senior team member
As the Senior Applications Developer (LMS) you will be primarily responsible for the following:
- LMS Technical expert
- Set up, configuration and deployment of the software (enhancements)
- Scoping
- More complex software development work
- Functional specifications based on business requirements
- Integration with D365
- Workflow / alignment / silos
- Escalations / Decisions / Problem solving
- HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL
- Web development standards
- Exposure to online learner management systems, server management and system integration
- Advanced skills in editing and writing
- Initiative and responsibility
- Relations and networking
- Influence
- Effective communication
- Professional and technical expertise and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.
- Analysis and judgment
- Systematic approach (planning and organising)
- Execution
