About the faculty

The Faculty of Commerce and Law offers multi-disciplinary undergraduate qualifications in  the fields of business (administration and management), law, tourism, human resources management, marketing and accounting. A post-graduate qualification is offered in BCom Honours Business Management. Students have the opportunity to study qualifications in diverse areas of commerce and law as the qualifications are multi-disciplinary in nature.

Our commerce and law qualifications provide  flexibility through different options to study full-time, part-time, and blended mode. The academic staff members in the Faculty of Commerce and Law  are highly qualified  with  wide industry and academic experience. This will aid a growth and knowledge sharing environment that will enable students to grow and manage knowledge. 

The Faculty of Commerce and Law qualifications are accredited by SAQA and CHE, further to that, the faculty is accredited by relevant professional bodies and currently some qualifications are professionally accredited by ACCA, CIMA, SABPP and SAICA AGA (SA).

The Faculty of Commerce and Law makes use of flexible technology-enabled learning methodologies to enhance student learning and produce industry ready students.
