We are proud to announce that our Human Resource Management-related qualifications at the Midrand campus have received Full Re-Accreditation status from the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP).
The handover event, held on Friday, 5 June at our Midrand campus, marked the formal recognition of this achievement and served as a moment of celebration, reflection, and acknowledgement of the collaborative effort behind this success. The process followed a rigorous SABPP re-accreditation review, confirming that our qualifications meet recognised professional standards, quality assurance requirements, and the evolving expectations of the Human Resources profession.
A key highlight of the event came from the CEO of SABPP, Xolani Mawande, whose message resonated strongly with those in attendance. He emphasised that you cannot change the world if you are not changing yourself and encouraged ongoing transformation by reminding attendees that it's important to re-invent yourself. His words captured the spirit of growth, reflection, and adaptability that underpins professional excellence.
The successful re-accreditation outcome reflects the strength of our Faculties of Commerce and Humanities' academic delivery, curriculum design, student support systems, and commitment to workplace readiness. It also affirms our focus on ensuring that graduates are equipped not only with theoretical knowledge, but with practical, industry-aligned skills and a strong ethical foundation.
