Our History

Eduvos has a rich history in higher education, spanning over 46 years.

1979

The Computer Training Institute (CTI) was founded and later partnered with Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI), marking the beginning of a significant presence in South Africa’s higher education landscape.

2011

CTI and MGI merged to form the Pearson Institute of Higher Education (PIHE), establishing a credible institution with high standards and a broad footprint in private higher education across the country.

2021

PIHE was acquired by a consortium led by EXEO Capital and Stellenbosch Graduate Institute, and was subsequently rebranded and registered as Eduvos, carrying its legacy into a new era of private higher education.
