Who can enter?

The referral campaign is open to any candidate who is:
a) aged 18 and over, and
b) is a resident in the Republic of South Africa, and
c) is not employed within Eduvos (Pty) Ltd, SGI (Pty) Ltd, whether temporary or permanent, or a family member of any of the above.

By referring a student (in terms hereof) the student referring such a student would have been deemed to have read and understood
 terms and conditions contained herein and agrees to be bound by such terms and conditions.

Why can't employees of Eduvos participate?
Eduvos subscribes to good business practices that prohibits the gaining of a reward from soliciting business outside usual business practice.


Can anybody outside of Eduvos participate then?

Yes, anybody can. That means current students or prospective students, their parents, families, teachers, or neighbours can too.


Eligibility criteria


To be eligible for the discount (mentioned in these terms and conditions), the referred candidate must comply with the following provisions:

  1. The referred candidate must successfully enrol at Eduvos and be over the age of 18 years.
  2. The referred candidate must pay the minimum first instalment in full, or upfront payment. The payment must be made before the commencement of classes.
  3. Referrals will only be accepted until the first day of classes per intake in the academic year 2022.
  4. Referred candidates can only be referred once. If a candidate is referred more than once, only the first person to refer that candidate will be eligible.
  5. Only new applications will count for this campaign.
  6. The referred candidate must NOT be listed on our matriculant database.
  7. Prizes awarded, are not transferable to another student or academic year. Prizes cannot be exchanged for the cash equivalent or for an alternative in any circumstances.
  8. No backdated referrals will be eligible.
  9. If a student is already registered or enrolled at a campus, then no prize will be payable to the referring student.

  1. Eduvos reserves the right to disqualify any entrant which it considers has used improper means to earn entries, without prior notification.
  2. By referring a potential student (as referred to above) or by the referred student advising who referred him/her to Eduvos, both the referrer and the referred candidate will be deemed to provide their consent for the purposes of sharing their Personal Information with Eduvos, alternatively there is no need for such consent by virtue of section 69 (3) of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPI”) in that the referring student is regarded as a student of Eduvos (Pty) Ltd and as such amounts to a customer as defined in section 69(3) of POPI.
  3. Throughout this process, Eduvos undertakes that at all times any Personal Information shared through this process, will be protected in accordance with POPI. Furthermore, Eduvos will take all appropriate and technical measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or processing of Personal Information as well as against the accidental loss or unauthorized destruction of, or damage to, Personal Information as required by POPI.


General:

  1. Eduvos reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion, at its own costs, in the event, which is beyond its reasonable control, including (but not limited to) change in laws in the Republic of South Africa or in the case of technical or other difficulties which may compromise its integrity. In this case, Eduvos, nor its directors, employees, and agents shall be held responsible for the termination or temporary suspension of the Promotion.
  2. Eduvos reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions, at its own discretion. Such alteration shall become applicable immediately after being altered or on such date as and when the updated version of the terms and conditions have been posted on Eduvos’ website.
  3. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation hereof, the decision of Eduvos shall be final in so far as a dispute may be concerned.
  4. These rules, as amended from time to time, will be published on the website www.eduvos.com and will be made available upon request.
